Professional Counselor, LPC-A
I served in 1st Ranger Battalion from 2006-2010, completing two Iraq deployments and one Afghanistan deployment prior to separating from the Army in 2010. I completed my undergrad at Umass Boston as a History major and earned two separate master's degrees from the University of Connecticut, Sport Management 2014 and Educational Psychology 2015. I am currently completing a Masters of Education in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Springfield College, as well as working towards my Certified Mental Performance Consultant certification. Since completing graduate school I have worked in a variety of roles in the veteran sector, focusing on job development and placement for both disabled and homeless veterans. Recently I have worked as an Addiction Therapist at Swift River Addiction Campuses in Massachusetts. In 2024 I was recognized as Swift River Therapist of the Year while also delivering the veteran focused Y6R curriculum and serving as the primary Veteran/First Responder Therapist. In August of 2025 I transitioned to the Loomis Chaffee School as the Associate Director of Counseling with a particular focus on student-athletes and performance. I live in Connecticut with my three best friends-my wife Courtney and kids Cole and Axton. My days are spent moving from one competition to another be it driveway or pool basketball, coaching flag football, as a family working to complete a race in each of Connecticut's 169 towns, or Jeopardy and Wordle with the family.
