Mr. Wray has nearly 40 years of clinical experience. His undergraduate studies awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in the study of Psychology from Jackson State University and he holds a graduate degree from Delta State University – with a concentration in Community and Agency Counseling that is certified by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Education Related Programs. Mr. Wray holds the state’s highest clinical credential as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor - Supervisor and is also a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist both in the State of NC. He holds the esteemed credential of Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor from the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium, a certified Relapse Prevention Specialist, and is a Board-Certified Professional Counselor. Mr. Wray also holds an additional national certification as an Addictions Specialist in the areas of eating disorders, alcohol and drug abuse/dependence from the American Academy of Health Care Providers in the Addictive Disorders and is fully licensed to practice in the state of FL as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. He was inducted into the South Carolinas Addictions Professionals as a Fellow in 2007. Lastly, he holds a coveted credential as a Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Provider awarded in 2023. Mr. Wray has honorably served in the military for 32 years and retired in 2018 at the rank of Colonel, with deployments to Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, & Africa. He has served as a board member of several organizations, most recently on the board of the Military Officer’s Association of America (MOAA) the Sandhills Chapter. His passions and interests include scuba diving, skydiving, yoga, cooking, & composing music.
