Dr. Jorge Correa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. A U.S. military veteran, Dr. Correa understands the complexities of trauma, transition, and resilience, particularly for veterans, first responders, and those in high-stress environments. His military background provides him with a unique ability to connect with clients who have faced similar struggles, offering culturally competent and compassionate care. Dr. Correa earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from Northcentral University and has been a licensed therapist since 2015. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, he specializes in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and systemic approaches to strengthening relationships. His therapeutic style is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Correa is an adjunct professor at National University, where he mentors and educates future mental health professionals. He is also an advocate for mental health awareness, actively engaging in community outreach, professional training, and veteran support initiatives. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Correa enjoys hiking, painting, and spending time with his family.
