Dr. Wheeler is a former Navy SEAL, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and adjunct professor. Dr. Wheeler specializes working with veterans and first responders, addressing issues associated with PTSD and Moral Injury. Focusing on trauma at all levels, he employs an eclectic approach to therapy utilizing various models including CBT, EMDR, and faith-based methods. Dr. Wheeler received his Master of Theology and PhD degrees from Mercer University in Atlanta, and is owner of Pathfinders Counseling Services in Lake Oconee, Georgia. He currently lives just outside the metro-Atlanta area with his wife and two children, and holds a passion for the men and women of the military and first responders who do so much for so little – LLTB!
