Aimee developed an early appreciation of military families when she enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17. The experiences that she was part, relationships that were developed and mentorship that she received later became the cornerstone of both her personal and professional development. Aimee’s work in counseling spans a broad-based spectrum from supporting service-members to aiding family members in becoming caregivers.  Aimee’s approach to counseling is marked by her appreciation for direct, honest communication. This foundational principle not only resonates with her clients but also fosters an environment of trust and empowerment.  Aimee utilizes a human-centered practice, ensuring that everyone’s unique experiences are recognized and incorporated into their therapeutic journey. Aimee’s career in counseling is paralleled by her personal life as the wife of a Green Beret and mom of a son who is currently serving in the 82nd Airborne Division.  Her relationships with her husband and son have further deepened her insight into the intricacies and stressors faced by those within the military community.   Aimee believes that providing servicemembers and individuals with the unique support that they need enhances resilience within families and individuals. Aimee is dedicated to facilitating healing and empowerment, ensuring that those she serves can embrace their full potential despite life’s adversities.  She remains committed to her mission to support, understand and uplift those who serve and protect the nation and individuals who are looking for growth and healing.
